Turkey Count
Samuel is planning on cooking thirty turkeys this year for our big Thanksgiving feast! We have already had 24 turkeys donated as well as ten hams.
Blanket Donation
Kelly Subaru supported the Mission by donating blankets! We appreciate their heart for those in need.
Food Donations for Thanksgiving
We are getting excited about our Thanksgiving meal coming up next week! The Mission is still accepting food donations in preparation for the dinner. You can use a food donation form on our website if you would like to donate needed items. It can be found at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-zdS0oKpeb3OVVRM-kIYCXFEUOQSWqeSHEmr2xRTveqcAxw/viewform
Incredible Giving! Back To The Street Ministries
Our friends the Harlows from Back To The Street Ministries brought donated items for the Thanksgiving meal. They brought 20 Turkeys, 10 hams, and 16 large cans of green beans!.
Thanksgiving Day Dedication
The Mission’s Thanksgiving Day outreach is dedicated to our friend and loyal Mission supporter, Nancy Hoffman. She passed away this year on May 8, 2020.
2020 Hard for the Homeless
2020 has been hard on the homeless. They have been even more isolated than usual. We want to bring them together in a safe, socially distant environment for a special Thanksgiving Day. We look forward to this special day coming up in the life of the Mission.
Thank you Patti and Concord for Gift Table Gifts
Patti is a women’s shelter chapel speaker and is also the administrative assistant at Concord Baptist Church. She is coordinating Concord’s support of the Mission during Thanksgiving. The church set tables up in their foyer in order for members to donate needed items.
Light in a Dark World
Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who pray and give to the Mission. We are grateful to be able to partner with you in shining God’s light into the dark streets of Chattanooga.
