Wikipedia describes Giving Tuesday as "It is a movement to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season." We appreciate the support we receive from our faithful donors during the holidays and throughout the year.
Two things that made our Thanksgiving special this year were the decorations and the gift table. We would like to thank a couple of our faithful volunteers, Angela and Jennifer. They made these additions a huge success!
We have received 182 desserts donated for the meal tomorrow. That is a new record! We want to thank the many people across Chattanooga who brought desserts. Also, thank you to all of you who have helped us spread the word through social media. It has made a difference!
Turkeys are coming out of the oven! Samuel is cooking 20 turkeys for our big day tomorrow. If you and your family are in the area, please drop in and eat with us. We serve from 11 am to 2 pm on 11/28/19.
Charlie presented a Thanksgiving check from the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 203. They are one of the largest Vietnam veteran chapters in the country.

74 eighth-graders from Heritage Middle School did an incredible job loading a truck for the Mission. They worked hard and had a bunch of fun.
We are grateful for the Lord's provision today. Samuel plans to cook 20 turkeys for Thanksgiving Day. So far we have received 35 turkeys! These were given by individual donors.
